Excellent book, great descriptions and photographs of the hidden gems across the island. Maps and breakdown of routes and options on where to stay and eat is a brilliant addition

Gemma & Campbell have poured their hearts and expertise into this incredible book allowing for you to visit Skye already knowing your way around, the best places to go whether that be for food, views or fuel! Often people visiting Skye will be on a bit of a time crunch – this book is fantastic at helping people get an idea of what they’d like to include in their itinerary of their trip so they don’t miss a thing! Absolutely incredible!

Gemma and Campbell have done it again. My wife and I just started motor-homing last year, and inspired watching the highlands2hammocks youtube channel; we decided to have a go at the NC500.

We bought their Destination NC500 and used the guide to plan and organise our trip. Completely by chance we ended up parked up beside Gemma and Campbell at Bora and they came over for a chat that evening. They are as lovely and as down to earth in person, as they appear on their channel.

They have obviously listened to customer feed back as this new guide to Skye raises the bar even further. A QR code takes you to a google map that details numerous locations and facilities. As a photographer myself, I can really appreciate the time and effort that has been spent, capturing the beautiful landscape that is the Isle of Skye. We cant wait for next summer to visit many of the locations that are expertly described within the guide.

Thank you guys, this guide is going to make the dark winter nights go in a lot quicker.

A beautiful book with so much information. It will accompany us and be our guide to Skye when we make our first visit next year. The photography is stunning and the use of ‘what3words’ an inspiration!

Loved both your books and really enjoy your adventures on YouTube. You are both naturals for the camera and come across as lovely people. What I like about your recent book is the way you highlight from the top to bottom end of the market (so there is something in there for everyone). Having eaten and stayed at the 3 Chimneys, it was great to see it in there. We bought your books to use in 2-3 years’ time when we retire…not sure we will do the whole campervan thing but both books have given us so many ideas. We also like that you have given 7 and 14 day routes to help people with ideas of where to go. You have clearly researched other books as the best beaches, best castles etc is another great thing to have in there. For future ideas, how about best coffee shops, best restaurants, best bars (was it Dublin you did Speakeasy bars – people love a hidden gem that even some of the local don’t know about), best things to do on a rainy day (being originally from Ayr…it is something you need to plan for), best street food (SEA trip) and so on.

I’m hoping it’s going to be as good as the NC500 book, but won’t know until 25th December 😉

I really like the attention to detail, as well as all the really informative style of Destination Skye. Every bit as good as Destination NC 500, which I also have.

The book was a much anticipated birthday present and has not disappointed, several trips are excitedly being planned!

We absolutely love the book. We are retiring next year, Skye is on our bucket list, having completed NC500 (may repeat 😂), we are so looking to planning our trip, using your stunning book.
