Gemma’s 30th Birthday in London 🎉
We kicked off the month celebrating Gemma’s 30th birthday in London. We had an amazing time immersing ourselves in the magical world of Harry Potter. We visited the Harry Potter Studios and enjoyed the incredible Harry Potter and the Cursed Child theatre show.
It was a perfect birthday celebration filled with nostalgia and wonder.
Campervan Campout Festival 🚐
Our first campervan festival of the year, Campervan Campout, was an absolute blast! We performed talks over three days, sharing our experiences touring the NC500, exploring the Wild Atlantic Way, and building our brand online.
It was fantastic to catch up with old friends and meet new ones. These shows always leave us feeling inspired by everyone’s adventures.
Italy with the Caravan Writers Guild 🇮🇹
Next, we jetted off to Italy with the Caravan Writers Guild to visit the Fiamma factory. This was especially exciting as we had just had a Fiamma awning installed on our van, and seeing it being made in the factory was so cool! We also got to explore Milan and Venice for the first time, soaking in the stunning architecture, delicious food, and rich history of these incredible cities.
Camping on Tiree 🏕️
Our first summer adventure took us camping on the beautiful island of Tiree. Known for its stunning beaches, clear waters, and vibrant wildlife, Tiree is a paradise for outdoor enthusiasts. We had an amazing time exploring the island, and we’re excited to share the full video of this trip, which goes live on YouTube tonight at 5 pm!
New Van Adventures 🚐
We’re thrilled to announce that we’ve bought a new van! It’s a Ford Transit Custom, perfect for small van adventures. We took it on its maiden voyage, hopping over to the islands of Islay and Jura. Both islands are breathtaking, with Islay known for its whisky distilleries and Jura for its rugged landscape and wildlife.
We also visited the Isle of Arran, often referred to as “Scotland in miniature” for its diverse landscapes, including mountains, forests, and beaches. These island-hopping adventures were incredible, and we can’t wait for more trips in our new van.
