Day 1: Explore the beach-y side of Northeast Tenerife

Day 2: Be a guest at Tenerife’s rainforest in Anaga
Anaga, one of the highly anticipated regions in Tenerife, is also home to the island’s rainforest. Famous as Anaga Rural Park, it is a protected natural area whose location is supposed to be on the northern tip of the island.
The national park proudly showcases a wide range of craggy peaks and majestically deep ravines. This beautiful collection was considered a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve in 2015 and since then it has gained enough attention and recognition it deserves. Amongst its rich flora and fauna, it holds a special collection of the largest Laurel forest which is considered as one of the special plants in the world.
Day 3: Cruise at the ease of being in Puerto de la Cruz
During your one week in Tenerife, you should definitely visit the magnificently beautiful Puerto de la Cruz. It is a city located on the north coast of the island and is known for its dark, volcanic-sand beaches and the huge Loro Parque zoo. These elements are enough to make any traveller be enticed and come down here as soon as possible.
The city has many possible attractions apart from these. The long list includes the famous Lago Martiánez- a saltwater pool complex designed by architect César Manrique and what a sight that is! Alongwith this, the list also includes some time travelling spots. An old harbour is home to a 17th-century customs house while Batería de Santa Bárbara is a crumbling 18th-century fort, all present till date to call out to the people and let them enjoy a time travel within itself.
Day 4: Be a nature enthusiast at El Teide National Park
A massive tourist attraction spot in Tenerife, the El Teide National Park holds one of the greatest treasures of all time. Home to the magnificent Mount Teide, the national park has managed to grab all the attention and knows for sure that it is a spectacular location indeed.
The El Teide National Park is home to the most interesting treasures of all time. Apart from the majestic Mount Teide, the national park also has Pico Viejo which is home to magical crater views. This crater look-alike is known as Teide-Pico Viejo stratovolcano which is considered as world’s third-tallest volcanic structure. Alongwith this volcanic structure, the visitors can be a spectator to the amazing and mesmerising “sea of clouds” formation which play along the amazing backdrop of mountains. A proper instagrammable moment can be captured here.
Apart from these captivating spots in the national park, the visitors can head Southwest and be a visitor to another spectacle. On arrival, they would notice the Juan Évora Ethnographic Museum which is a traditional shepherd’s home converted.
Day 5: Spectate the stunning rock formations at Los Gigantes
On your trip to Tenerife, you would want to spend 1 out of your 7 days in Tenerife at the magnificent Los Gigantes. It is a resort town, located in the Santiago del Teide municipality. This western coast town became a tourist spot after the discovery of a stunning rock face that can be seen from many angles.
Los Gigantes has a history associated with it and nothing falls short than the mere fact that this magnificent town is a homely resort for tourists. According to the legends, the town got its name after the factual discovery of the rocks, therefore, Los Gigantes literally translates to “The Giants”. Amongst the rock formations, Acantilados de Los Gigantes is the focal point. These formations rise from 500-800 metres when measured from the sea. This massive height is enough to make a grown man look ant size.
Day 6: Enjoy the best of both worlds at Garachico
Located on the northern coast of Tenerife, the historical town of Garachico can be a sweet pit stop for fellow travellers. Garachico is a municipality and a town, hence the availability of facilities is quite well.
According to the locals, a few hundred years ago, a volcanic eruption took place. This eruption smothered the port town which held such importance. The aftermath of this natural disaster shook the town which made it near to impossible to recover and hence lives took a new turn here. Most of the town is based out on the road which is supposed to be land that was extended by lava.

Day 7: Shop hop at the local markets
