Back to the NC500

We arrived back into Scotland from Belfast and after a couple of days at home, we made our way up to the Wester Ross region to work on some brand content.

We spent some time exploring around Ullapool, Gairloch and Torridon, one of our favourite areas in the world. The weather was certainly starting to turn though as it feels like winter has arrived!

Isle of Skye

From there, we headed south and across to the Isle of Skye where we finished the first draft of our new Destination Earth Guides book – Destination Skye 🥳 We have been working on this since the start of the year so it has felt so so good to get the first draft done.

Whilst waiting on our first draft to be delivered, we decided to head over to the island of Uist, an island in the Outer Hebrides that we have always wanted to visit. One of the reasons that this came about was whilst we were searching for “celidh’s near me” 😂 It has been a long time since we’ve been to a celidh and we were keen to find one we could go to, so when we saw a charity celidh event on Uist we thought, why not make a trip of it and explore Uist for a few days and go for a dance!

Uist

Uist has been magical so far. It is quiet, every night we are parked up overlooking a white sandy beach with the clearest blue water and we have had an excellent gin tasting experience at North Uist Distillery. If you want to see more of Uist, make sure to keep up to date on our Instagram stories 😊
